Coaching Development Program
What’s happening: A new, year round innovative Coach Development program in direct collaboration with Old Glory DC.
What’s the goal: Enhance coaching skills and capabilities to produce better players and build a strong pathway through youth, college, senior rugby, and beyond.
What are the details:
- Open to: All registered Rugby Virginia coaches across all age groups and experience levels.
- Program Leads: Simon Cross (Old Glory DC Head Coach) and Stan South (Young Glory Head Coach).
- Format: A comprehensive mix of online and in-person interactive sessions.
- Cost: The program will run throughout 2026 and is provided free of charge to all Rugby VA, registered coaches.
- USA Rugby: This is the first program of its kind within USA Rugby.
